Het aftellen naar WordCamp Nederland is begonnen. Op 15 en 16 september a.s. is Burgers Zoo het epicentrum van WordPress Nederland. In de aanloop naar dit event introduceert we met trots onze line-up aan sprekers. In dit artikel presenteren we de vijfde set van vier sprekers.

  Johan is a passionate web developer, hacker and free software advocate. He is driven to create through building, connecting, and automating “things” to design fun powerful new digital experiences using open technologies.

  Johan is most known as co-founder of Joomla and he was lead developer of Joomla 1.5. In the past 20 years Johan has spent most his time creating and advocating free and open source software and helping evolve the world wide web. Johan is a firm believer in sharing and collaboration, in spreading good ideas and in the power of technology to make the world a better place.

  He continually pushes the people around him to be creative and connect the dots and he loves to push startups forward either as co-founder, CTO or as startup mentor and advisor.

• Theo van der Zee

  Theo is al ruim 20 jaar bezig met het bouwen en verbeteren van websites. Inmiddels heeft hij al meer dan 100 klanten (van MKB tot multinational) in 10+ landen geholpen met conversie optimalisatie. Door zijn brede interesse in het vakgebied heeft hij intussen een diepgaande kennis over data, psychologie, code, en statistiek vergaard. Naast werken aan zijn bedrijf en de websites van klanten maakt Theo graag verre treinreizen samen met zijn vriendin of brengt hij tijd door op het strand.

  Working with WordPress since 2006 and I love the openness & power. Together with my husband Werner Huysmans we have a ‘two-man-agency’, focused on custom development (themes, plugins, blocks), building on top of the power of WordPress to empower our clients.

  I try to give back by helping as much as I can: facilitating knowledge sharing by (co-)organising the monthly WordPress Meetup Antwerp since 2014, WordCamp Antwerp 2016 & 2018 and the nearly-happened WordCamp Antwerp 2020.
