Afterparty: Winter Beats & Bites
You will not end the first day of WordCamp Netherlands 2026 with just a drink at the bar. We are going bigger! After a day full of sessions and learning, we will take you to a completely different part of Madurodam for an evening you will not soon forget.
A different side of Madurodam
On Thursday evening, 12 November, we will open the Expo Square and the Panorama Café for a winter evening full of food, music, and connection.
Madurodam will transform this part of the park into a lively festival setting, complete with a stretch tent covering the Panorama Café terrace and the Expo Square. This means you can fully enjoy the unique surroundings while staying protected from the November weather.
Around the Expo Square, several food points will serve dinner. Expect cones of fries, tray-baked pizzas, sandwiches, poffertjes, and more. A true mix of Dutch classics. After dinner, drinks will be available throughout the evening, including wine, beer, soft drinks, mulled wine, and hot chocolate
Music & entertainment
On Thursday evening, a DJ in the Panorama Café will set the musical mood. From the café and the stretch tent, you can enjoy live music while catching up with fellow attendees.
There will also be a caricaturist. Have your portrait drawn in the style of the Dutch Masters, right in the middle of the park’s attraction of the same name.

The afterparty is an optional add-on to your regular ticket and is available to a limited number of attendees. The price has been kept intentionally low, so as many attendees as possible can join.
