Jaap Wiering designs websites and printed materials through his Amsterdam-based company Fanagalo.
He has been part of the WordPress community since 2008. He organizes Meetups in Amsterdam, helps as a volunteer at WordCamps, and works on making WordPress more sustainable.
Jaap believes that lifelong learning is the key to an interesting life. He is interested in Personal Knowledge Management and uses Obsidian for this.
Besides his work, Jaap loves scuba diving in both fresh and salt water. He works as a Dive Master and gives introductory diving lessons. He sings in a classical choir and goes running three times a week.
