Thijs de Valk is a behavioural scientist with a Master’s degree in Pedagogical Sciences at the Radboud University in Nijmegen. Pedagogical Sciences can be best compared to Developmental Psychology. He has worked for several youth care organisations, having a large interest especially in people with autism spectrum disorder. This is also what his last employer in youth care is specialised in.

Thijs joined team Yoast in December 2012. He has learned a lot since; doing website reviews, conversion reviews, support and performing conversion optimization (A/B) tests on yoast.com. Especially with conversion rate optimization his degree in behavioural sciences is a real asset.
